Event Details

The AARP Safe Driving program is a two-part class on Nov. 6 and 7. To receive your certificate of completion, you must attend the four-hour sessions on both days. 

Please call the library at 630-466-4686 to register for this program. Registration priority will be given to Sugar Grove cardholders.

If you have an AARP membership, please bring it with you. The course is $20 for AARP members and $25 for nonmembers, payable to the instructor on the first day of class. The Library will not handle payment for this class.

In this class, you will:

  • Learn about skills and strategies you can use on the road every day
  • Discover defensive driving techniques to help you deal with aggressive drivers
  • Explore local laws and traffic rules for drivers
  • Get tips for proper maintenance of your vehicle so it’s safe before you drive
