Grades K-6: Everything is awesome at Lego Club! Let your imagination soar; the ceiling is the limit! Lego activities include building, games, and more.  Lego materials are provided by SGPL and all creations will be displayed in the library for the month following each club. A separate registration is required each month. 

Ages 0 months-3 years: Toddler & Baby Story Time encourages early literacy and helps develop language skills and social skills through the use of simple books, fun fingerplays, and action rhymes. Children learn the joy of choosing a book and shared reading. Caregivers stay with children. Program is geared toward toddlers, but siblings are welcome.

Readers at all levels can benefit from our Read to Rover program. Reading to the friendly and patient Fox Valley Therapy Dogs allows children to improve their reading skills and gain confidence while reading their favorite stories to dogs who love to listen. Space is limited-- please register! A separate registration is required each month. No library card necessary.

Are you a teen interested in volunteering at the library? Get volunteer credit for attending VolunTEENS! Each month, we will discuss program ideas and do volunteer projects around the Library. 

Cook a dish from our book of the month and bring it to our potluck book discussion!

Are you in grades 6-12 and interested in making friends and learning to code? Join the Girls Who Code Club! At our monthly meetings, we'll be trying fun computer projects like computer games and learning skills in Scratch, Python, Swift, and more. Please register.

Ages 3-6: We read stories, do fun fingerplays, sing songs, play letter-recognition games, make crafts, and more. Your 3-6 year old will join us for a fun time and develop independence, literacy, language, and social skills as well as positive associations with reading and the library. Caregivers do not attend the class, but must stay in the library. Register with Sugar Grove Public Library District card.

Insurance agent Cindy Fields will show you how and when to sign up for Medicare and what it does and doesn't cover. Bring your questions!

Grades 3-5. This exciting monthly club includes specific book-themed crafts and activities. Read each month's book in advanced and discuss it with other kids your age while sampling delicious cookies. A separate registration is required each month. 

Pick up a copy of the book or audiobook at the Circulation Desk OR download a digital copy on Libby, Boundless, or Hoopla, available at sgpl.org/e-books. 

Join us for this new monthly group to share genealogy resources and tips, as well as ask questions and get advice on your genealogy roadblocks. All are welcome.

Grades 1-6: Calling all Pokémon Trainers! Come play, learn, and talk about Pokémon. Play the game, trade cards, and do crafts. Bring your Nintendo DS, Nintendo Switch, or smart phone  if you would like to play with another friend in the club or Pokémon Go.

Space is limited, please register separately for one session each month.

What do we do at anime club? Watch anime. Eat snacks. And do crafts.

Bring your crafting project and join others on the Library's Front Porch if it's nice, in the Quiet Reading Room if it's not. No need to register for drop in crafting.

This group is for writers of fiction, poetry, essays, and more. Bring up to six double-spaced pages to read from your work-in-progress and receive reader feedback. No registration required.
