Program Description

Event Details

Kids in grades K-5 are invited to celebrate our neighborhood trees and forests this Arbor Day weekend at this hands-on program offered in partnership with the Sugar Grove Village Enhancement Committee. Learn about our very own neighborhood habitat with a local naturalist from the Forest Preserve District of Kane County, then explore hands-on learning stations. Special guests naturalist Mary Ochsenschlager and Village President Jen Konen will also be on hand to meet community members and pass out free tree seedlings courtesy of the Village Enhancement Committee following the program.

For kids in grades K-5 on their own or with a caregiver. Space is limited-- please register. Seedlings are first-come, first-served while supplies last.
