Celebrate the newest chapter in the Library's history at our Open House! This is our first official Friday open in more than ten years, a result of the successful April 2023 referendum. Enjoy coffee, juice, and pastries, as well as music, activities for all ages (including a card program by Jennifer Boring), and other surprises, sponsored by the Sugar Grove Library Foundation. A ribbon cutting and remarks will be at 10:15am.

Here's what we're celebrating:
- More hours: The Library will be open 9am to 8pm Mondays through Thursdays and open Fridays 9am to 6pm starting July 12!
- Updated spaces: Children's play space, Magazine Space, and Back Porch
- Vending machines in the lobby for beverages and snacks
- More movies: As of July, the Library offers Kanopy as another resource for movies! Kanopy features feature films, documentaries, and TV shows, as well as Kanopy Kids, which includes a lot of PBS Kids shows and more. Find out more about Kanopy here.
- New databases: AToZDatabases is a terrific resource that can help businesses build targeted mailing lists, help job seekers limit searches, and aid those looking for people by address or phone number as well as those seeking businesses and healthcare providers. Niche Academy is an easy-to-use learning management system to assist organizations and individuals.
