Purpose of Meeting

In order to earn a Girl Scouts badge in coding, a Girl Scout Troop will be using the Janice Katherine Rice Technology Learning Center to learn how to code. Our Girls Who Code volunteer instructor will walk them through the basics and provide guidance on how to write a command or two in the Python Programming Language. Python is great beginners programming language that is used in web development, data analysis, and machine learning. You can find out more about Python at Python.org (https://www.python.org/).

The TLC will be open for patrons to use the copier/printer along with the fax machine and scanner. However, a limited number of desktop computers will be available for patrons from 6pm to 8pm when the program takes place. Please talk to the Adult Services or Circulation desks for accommodations.
