Join our revived book discussion first Thursdays of every month 6-7 PM in the Quiet Reading Room to discuss mysteries, thrillers and true crime books.
In The Late Show by Michael Connelly, Renee Ballard works the night shift. She catches two assignments, and, against orders, works both cases by day while maintaining her shift by night. She won't give up her job, no matter what the department throws at her.
