Corrie ten Boom (April 1892-April 1983) was a Dutch Christian Holocaust survivor who helped many Jews escape the Nazis during WWII. Be inspired through dramatic monologue as Corrie (portrayed by Gayle Haas) shares some of her experiences growing up in Haarlem, Holland, her family’s commitment to work with the Dutch Resistance, and her powerful message of love and forgiveness.
Wife, mother, grandmother, prayer warrior, teacher, dramatist/ storyteller, conference speaker, Gayle Haas has taught in both public and private schools. Her love for people of all ages has enhanced her participation and leadership in women’s ministry, children’s ministry, family education programs, and care giving ministry. Gayle takes great pleasure in developing and performing dramatic monologues of historical and fictional characters.
She and her husband, Dan, are longtime residents of Aurora. With 45+ years of local church ministry, Gayle and Dan, have founded, A Future and A Hope Foundation, focusing on prayer for urban communities addressing issues of violence, poverty, education, and discipleship training.
