National Voter Registration Day is Tuesday Sept. 17th! If you are an U.S. citizen, a legal resident of Illinois, and will be 18 years old by the next general election (Nov. 5, 2024), YOU can register to vote!

Here at the library from 9:30am to 12:00pm, we will help you register to vote. We will have paper forms for registration as well as a laptop for online registration. You will need to bring a state issued identification (driver's license or state ID) to complete the form. If you don't have one, you can use the last four digits of your social security number, a current utility bill, bank statement, paycheck statement, etc.

For more information on voter registration, see the websites of the Kane County Clerk or the Illinois State Board of Elections.
